The fitness tracker estimates the amount of heat consumed by built-in hardware such as accelerometers and gyroscopes. By calculating the number of steps, and then the calorie consumption according to a certain algorithm, including the number of steps of our normal walking, jogging, running and other sports.
- The fitness tracker’s estimation of calorie consumption is divided into two parts, one is static calories and the other is dynamic calories;
- Static calories are accumulated according to whether or not to wear a fitness tracker (wearing detection);
- Dynamic calories are estimated and accumulated based on the number of steps and the exercise intensity of the exercise state.
